Feed with salmon has been balanced in terms of its nutritional content based on current feeding norms and recommendations. Salmon supplies fats with a rich content of fatty acids. EPA and DHA fatty acids are particularly important as they play a role in the processes protecting nerve tissue and in reproduction – their total content in the feed is 1% of the entire pool of fatty acids.
